Productos Naturales de Canarias was born in 2002, the result of the union between an economist with extensive experience in multinationals and a couple of pharmacists, owners of Laboratorios Kosei, a leading company in dermocosmetics in the Canary Islands. Since 2021, the company continues its trajectory under the direction and ownership of the founding economist, consolidating a new stage of growth and evolution of the Atlantia brand. At Atlantia we have developed our own cold extraction and stabilization process for pure Aloe Vera juice, guaranteeing maximum preservation of its active ingredients. In parallel, we carry out our own R&D&I activities, aimed at continuously improving the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of our formulas. Our products are formulated and manufactured in specialized laboratories, while Atlantia is in charge of their distribution and marketing, ensuring that each product maintains the excellence and purity that define our brand.
Aloe vera, the resilient plant
Aloe vera is one of the most valuable plants in nature due to its extraordinary wealth of active ingredients beneficial for the skin. Used since ancient times by different cultures for its soothing, regenerating and protective properties, today it continues to be an essential ingredient in dermocosmetic care. At Atlantia we work exclusively with Aloe Barbadensis Miller, the most appreciated variety in cosmetics and dermopharmacy. From its leaves we obtain pure Aloe vera juice, cold stabilized to preserve its active ingredients intact, and present in our entire range of products as the basis of their effectiveness and quality.

The Aloe Barbadensis Miller Canary It is the most valued variety in cosmetics and dermopharmacy due to its high concentration of active ingredients. In its pulp, more than 200 bioactive components, including vitamins (A, C, E and group B), minerals, essential amino acids, enzymes, polysaccharides such as acemanano and natural antioxidants.
Its cultivation in the Canary Islands offers unique conditions:
- Constant trade winds that regulate humidity and temperature
- Volcanic soils rich in minerals
- High sun exposure throughout the year
This environment favors a higher purity, density and effectiveness of the gel, much superior to that of aloe grown in extreme climates, greenhouses or regions with water stress. In many regions, aloe is grown in suboptimal conditions (extreme cold, poor soils, excess humidity or artificial irrigation), which reduces the concentration of its active ingredients.
In the Canary Islands, the temperate climate without frost, the natural ventilation and the volcanic soils allow the aloe to develop a Richer, more stable and concentrated bioactive profile, with greater regenerating and soothing capacity. Aloe vera does not require tree cutting. It is grown in arid or volcanic lands and harvested sustainably:
- The plant does not start
- Only outer leaves are cut
- Natural regeneration cycles are respected
Our organic farming in the Canary Islands is an example of regenerative and environmentally friendly agriculture.
At Atlantia we follow a carefully controlled process:
- Certified organic farming in Tenerife, El Hierro and Fuerteventura
- Immediate collection and processing (24–48 hours)
- Removal of the inner gel, avoiding the outer bark
- Filtering and cold stabilization, preserving the active ingredients
- Specialized packaging, such as airless systems, which protect the product from natural oxidation.
No. Aloe vera juice needs cold stabilization processes and a minimum proportion of safe preservatives and stabilizers to prevent oxidation and guarantee its safety and effectiveness over time.
For example, our drinkable juice Bialoe contains 99.17% pure Canarian Aloe vera juice, the remaining percentage being exclusively the stabilizers and preservatives necessary for its correct conservation.
A gel made only with aloe would oxidize or suffer bacterial proliferation in less than 24 hours.
Therefore, it is essential to add a small amount of safe ingredients that provide stability and texture.
Our Atlantia Pure Aloe Vera Gel contains approximately 96% pure Canarian Aloe vera juice, complemented only with the essential components to maintain its freshness, safety and effectiveness.
Yes. All our leaves come from organic crops certified by the CRAE (Canary Committee for Organic Agriculture) and registered in the ROPE (Official Registry of Organic Producers), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
This certification guarantees traceability, sustainability and absence of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. The resulting plant fiber is reused as natural compost, enriching other agricultural soils in the Canary Islands and promoting a local circular economy.
Most brands use aloe in freeze-dried or concentrated powder, processes that significantly reduce the active ingredients.
At Atlantia we make all our products with pure cold-stabilized Canarian Aloe vera juice, keeping its bioactive components intact and guaranteeing a real and clinically proven efficacy.
The most reliable way to know if a cosmetic contains pure Aloe vera juice is to review the ingredient list (INCI), which always appears on the packaging.
Keys you should know:
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice
Indicates pure Aloe vera juice, obtained directly from the leaf and cold stabilized to keep its natural properties intact. - Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder / Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
Indicates aloe powder or concentrated extract, obtained after dehydration or concentration processes. To formulate the product, these ingredients must be rehydrated by adding water, which reduces some of the natural components of aloe. Many brands use them because their transportation is cheaper, but they do not offer the same quality or freshness.
The order of the ingredients matters
In INCI, ingredients are listed as follows: greater to lesser amount.
For a product to have a real high content of Aloe vera, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice must appear among the first three ingredients.
The Atlantia commitment
In Atlantia, all our products are formulated exclusively with pure Aloe vera juice from the Canary Islands, always present in the first positions of the INCI.
We never use powders or concentrates, because we bet on an aloe fresher, more active and true to its origin.
SCIENTIFIC STUDIES
Atlantia products have been evaluated in scientific studies carried out in hospitals in Spain. In addition, they are used and prescribed by health professionals in more than 150 public and private hospitals, thanks to their effectiveness and tolerance in contexts of real clinical use. These studies and clinical experience have focused mainly on the care of skin undergoing medical treatments, such as radiotherapy or surgical procedures, situations in which the skin has greater sensitivity, risk of irritation, alteration of the skin barrier and difficulties in the natural processes of regeneration and healing.
Find out more about our clinical trials
A scientific study is a research work designed to evaluate the safety, tolerance and effectiveness of a product under controlled and real conditions of use. In the field of dermocosmetics, these studies allow us to observe how the skin responds and what benefits a formula provides in specific situations.
There are different types of scientific studies, among which the following stand out:
• Clinical study
It is research carried out on people to observe how a product behaves under real conditions of use. It allows evaluating aspects such as skin tolerance, skin evolution, patient perception or the improvement of certain parameters, always under the supervision of health professionals.
• Clinical trial
It is a specific type of clinical study with a more controlled design. In a clinical trial, participants are divided into groups (for example, active product and placebo) and neither the patient nor the professional knows which product is being applied. This method allows you to compare results objectively and obtain more precise evidence about the effectiveness of the product. Atlantia has carried out clinical trials of Regestimul cream and Bialoe drinkable juice with the collaboration of some centers.
In Atlantia, our products have been evaluated through different types of scientific studies, including clinical trials and observational clinical studies, carried out in hospital environments and in collaboration with health professionals.
To evaluate the effectiveness of the cream Regestimul in scar care, a prospective, randomized, double-blind clinical trial, comparing it with a placebo cream in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery.
The study was carried out in the Durán i Reynals University Hospital (ICO), in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona).
They participated in the trial 71 patients: 38 used Regestimul and 33 used placebo. As it was a double-blind study, neither the patients nor the healthcare personnel knew which cream was being applied in each case.
How was it evaluated?
The measurements were carried out at three times:
- Before surgery
- One week after the intervention
- After three weeks of use of the cream
Key aspects of the evolution of the scar and skin were assessed:
- scar size (length and width)
- Associated discomforts (pain, itching, redness, stiffness)
- Skin quality (hydration, elasticity, melanin and erythema)
Main results
- Improvement was observed in both groups, confirming the importance of a proper and constant care of the scar.
- Regestimul showed a more favorable trend in reducing the size of the breast scar compared to placebo.
- In skin parameters, Regestimul cream favored a faster and more aesthetic recovery, highlighting improvements in elasticity and melanin.
- In the armpit scar, the differences were minor and both creams improved the evolution, without a clear advantage.
Security
During the study, There were no adverse effects associated with the use of Regestimul cream..

Bialoe was evaluated in a randomized double blind study versus placebo to analyze its role in prevention and/or reduction of esophagitis (irritation of the esophagus) associated with radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy in patients with lung cancer.
Where it was held: Hospital Clinic of Barcelona.
Participants: 133 patients (66 Bialoe / 67 placebo).
Tracking: from before starting treatment until 2 weeks after finishing it.
What was evaluated?
During the study, the following were monitored:
- The occurrence and degree of esophagitis during treatment.
- The pain (EVA scale).
- Changes in diet and tolerance.
- Questionnaires symptoms and quality of life (depending on the patient and the healthcare team).
What was observed?
- The esophagitis appeared in 45.1% of patients, mainly during the middle and final weeks of treatment, something common in this type of therapy.
- Although the study had a smaller sample than initially planned (which may limit the statistical significance of some comparisons), the results describe a tendency towards greater stability in the group that took Bialoe: less worsening of symptoms and a more constant evolution of quality of life during the process.
- In specific analyses, it was found significant differences in some variables in certain subgroups, suggesting a possible benefit in specific contexts.
Safety and tolerance
During the test, no problems associated with consumption were recorded from Bialoe.
